LG’s 31-inch 3D OLED TV might help establishing the OLED TVs in the mainstream. It’s for the first time that an OLED has gotten so much slim that now it could strongly contend against the already ultra-slim LCD TVs. The 2.9 cm thick TV with 31-inch 3D OLED display has been billed as the world’s slimmest OLED TV yet. Featuring 3D viewing glasses, full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) and “infinite contrast ratio” it’s all set to give you the ultimate, never-seen-before viewing experience. Now when it boasts of matchless features and quality, you can’t expect it to be anything less than super-expensive. Thought the price is yet to be declared, you may have an idea in the light of $2500 11-inch XEL-1 and the LG’s 15-inch OLED TV that went for over $2500 in Germany. Nonetheless, luxury that too at it’s best never comes cheap, so it will deserve a mammoth price tag for sure.
