Sanyo’s Xacti DMX-CA100 has arrived with a bang as the world’s first waterproof camcorder. The HD cam features 1/2.33-inch CMOS sensor, 5x optical zoom, 2.7-inch LCD, and clicks picture at 14 megapixels. You can take the DMX-CA100 upto a depth of 3 meters under water for about an hour. You may like to play a submarine photographer with it but you better not stretch the act beyond a swimming pool. It will start retailing for about $440 in Japan by the month end.
