We haven’t featured any insane Japanese product lately, so here’s this bizarre musical instrument called Otamatone Wahha Gogo. Designer Maywa Denki has created this mentally-irregular creature based on a “laughing” machine called Otamatone they developed in 2009. The previous version was just a straight face without the funny mouth and animated teeth as this upgraded Otamatone has. In order to play it, you have to slide your fingers up and down the tail, which in turn make its funny mouth open and sing. The nonsense music instrument is available in Gold and Silver versions and run on AAA x3 batteries. If you wish to bring this weird fellow home and hear it make even weirder sounds, it’s available for purchase at Japan Trends Shop for $60.
